There are many different environments that a PADI Instructor will encounter in the course of their career with many different challenges. The PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) is designed to instruct you in how to lead divers and to teach others to dive and it is our intention at Dive Timor to help you not just pass the examinations but to achieve your ambition to becoming a successful PADI professional.
During the PADI Instructor Development course, you will learn about the PADI System of diver education, standards and procedures, effective academic teaching presentations, teaching in confined water, conducting open water training dives and other related topics. It also helps to further develop your leadership abilities to the instructor level and will ensure that you are able to effectively teach and organize PADI dive courses.
As a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor you can conduct the entire range of PADI experience programs and PADI dive courses, from PADI Open Water Diver through to PADI Divemaster but to teach Specialty courses and Emergency First Response courses, you will be required to undertake further training.

When and Where?
The next IDC runs at Dive Timor Lorosae, Dili, East Timor from 19th November to 4th December 2018 including a free 4-day preparation course to fine tune your theory and skills. The required Emergency First Response Instructor Course is on 30th November and the IE itself is on 5th and 6th December.

The price of the IDC is just US$900 plus PADI Materials and fees.
