Emergency First Response

Duration: 1/2 day

Prerequisites: No qualifications necessary

Emergency First Response (EFR) gives you the tools you need to perform Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid. Whether you’re a diver or a non-diver, EFR prepares you to properly handle potentially life-threatening situations.

This comprehensive program is composed of two core modules that can be taught in tandem or as stand-alone courses: Emergency First Response – Primary Care and Emergency First Response – Secondary Care. Together, these courses proved extensive instruction in CPR and First Aid, as well as providing Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and Emergency Oxygen sections.

The course covers the theory of EFR primary and secondary care, and involves lots of practical hands-on experience in providing CPR and First Aid so you can build your skills and confidence to manage any situation. EFR is also a requirement for the PADI Rescue Diver course.

This certification is internationally recognised and is valid for 24 months.  Anyone can take this course, there is no age limit.
